| VINEYARD AREA : 17 Hectares in grouped plots SOIL AND LOCATION : 50 % of the vines stand on a clay-gravel slope, 50% on the southerly exposed gravel slope. VARIETALS :70% merlot, 30% cabernet Franc AGE OF VINES : 30 years. VINEYARD PRACTICES : Sustainable agriculture ; traditional ploughing ; green harvest and manual harvesting. VINIFICATION : The grapes are sorted on tables, then destemmed and put to ferment in thermoregulated vats. AGEING : 12 months in oak barrels from Tronçay forest (Allier, Central France). One third of barrels are replaced every year. BOTTLING : carton cases of 6 or 12 bottles ; half bottles, magnums and double magnums are available |
